The cold water inlet line is either clogged (it has a filter screen in it) or the cold-water solenoid valve is malfunctioning.

Remove cold water line, check for obstruction -- if no success, inspect electrical connections on solenoid valve (where the cold water line attaches to the back of the machine). If valve is getting current, take it apart and clean it. If that doesn't work, replace the solenoid valve.

Here are some things to check that are general for all washers.
Is the cold water turned on? Are the hoses connected to the correct faucets? Is the filter screen inside the hose where it connects to the faucet clogged? Do you hear a buzzing sound when the washer is trying to fill and is set to COLD only?
If all the above are OK then the temperature selector switch (or electronic control) may have to be replaced.
If there is no buzzing sound when the washer is trying to fill on Cold only, the solenoid valve (that the hoses connect to on the washer) may have to be replaced.

I have kenmore 80 series heavy duty/ super capacity plus washer that after it fills with water, hot or cold and it starts the wash cycle, I noticed that the agitator only moves once in awhile and stops

hum either a bad timer sticking the point contacts close. have u tried this in all cycles? and possibly a motor with bad windings not enough power to run agitation? try running in mild or gentle and see what happens? I was tempted to say the cam dogs in agitator but they dont work then stop then work, when they go out they go out.

I have a top loading Kenmore Washing Machine. I don´t have the excat model but looks like a KENMORE HEAVY DUTY SERIES 70 AUTOMATIC WASHER, MODEL # 110.92273100. The problem presents after finishing...

You may have 2 defective parts.
First, make sure the hot and cold water hoses are connected correctly and both turned on.
If the water fill problem is the same, the water temp switch is bad.
The not filling after the wash cycle could be a bad lid switch.
Set the machine for SPIN and turn it on.
If it does not spin, replace the lid switch.

I have a Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 series washer older model. It will not alow cold water to fill washer. Tried warm and hot water only fills the tank. Hot water will fill fine with no problem.

shut the house water valve off, take off the cold water line on the back of the washer and stick it in the tub of the washer, have someone hold the hose and turn on the cold water valve,if water comes out then you need to change out the water valve on the washer,if no water comes out then you have a problem with the house water valve.there are screens in the valves see if you canpop out the screen and clean it out and put it back into the valve, you can try that but sediment could have went through the screen and damaged the valve,if so change it out.next time send the model number and i can give you part numbers, let me know what you find

Kenmore heavy duty washing machine 70 series

The most likely cause for water fill temperature problems is the solenoid has burned out, usually cold first, it gets used more. Not a repairable item , easy to replace
