My Electrolux Rapido hand held vacuum cleaner won't charge. The blue light used to come on when I returned it to its cradle but not anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening?

*Plug in air cleaner and press POWER button until short “beep” sounds. . Press the RESET FILTER button by gently inserting a paperclip into the RESET FILTER hole on the control panel. The light will flash 5 times before a “beep” sounds to indicate the filter has been reset.

check under neath to see if the bel is connected or it broke if its not sucking im not really sure how to answer that ive never had that happend it can be a wiring issue or switch it sounds like it can be the switch might need replacing the power or the pedal that unlocks it from the stick mode might be pinching somthing that stops it

This is very easy, all you need to do is remove two quarter turn locks on the bottom plate and then you remove the plate and can assess the Electrolux Nimble Brush Roller 16136 1

Hi, I can help. Flip the canister on it's back. Remove all crews. Should pull apart from there. If not check around body to see if it's clipped. You may have to pry the sides apart. That will give you access. Be careful and pay attention to where everything is. Good luck.

If the plug in charger works, the batteries are boiled out and need replacement.

They should not be left on charger all the time. Just charge them for 10 hours and use them until the performance has dropped off, then and only then put it back on charge for 10 hours.

A common problem with roller/beaters is hair caught in the bearings on the ends of the roller. The roller is removable and requires regular cleaning or the belt will be destroyed.
