When the icily wriggles an x does not appear for me to delete app

First delete the app by pressing and holding on the app icon. It will begin to wiggle and a small x will appear at the top right corner. Tap the x to delete the app.

Now visit the app store and install the app again. When you open the app all previous activity will have been removed.

Alot of preloaded apps can't be deleted unless you put an aftermarket system on your tablet

On the homepage of your iPad > find the app you want to delete > long press it until it wobbles > press the cross on the top-right of the app to delete it.

Are you pushing and holding? You need to place your finger on the app Icon and hold there until the x appears. If that doesn't work go to cloud and select your apps menue then place your finger on it and hold after a few seconds it should then give you the option to remove from device and I cloud both.
