Need v-uap9 windows 8 driver

The drivers, made for older windows versions, won't work on a Windows 7 or up machine. Not even in compatibility mode. Microsoft needed to make Windows more secure, so only allows drivers in there modern operating systems when they have a Microsoft certificate. For a certificate the manufactures must use Microsoft protocols, ask Microsoft for certification, and pay for the tests Microsoft does, to check the software is working correct. So no manufacturer will ask for certification of drivers for hardware they no longer sell.
Long story, but unless you can write your driver yourself, or you can find an universal device driver (not sure something like that exists) you won't be able to use the device.
I saw some dodgy sites trying to offer drivers. Be aware all drivers you can install in windows 7 or 8, you can get them from Microsoft. The ones you could use on an XP computer can't be used, because Windows 7 or 8 won't let you install them. Just for security reasons.
When your device is sold with compatible with Windows x and it is lower version then the one you use, most likely you can't find driver for your device for the modern Windows. Almost no manufacturer will offer drivers for hardware they no longer sell.
Not even Logitec.

Windows 3.1 runs on an old PC, without any USB connector.
Perhaps you mean windows 8.1?
You can be right, because since windows 7, Microsoft is only making drivers for certified equipment. Most factories, only try to get certification on windows 8, for their new camera's And the factories also can't (or won't?) develop new drivers so their older cams can be used on new operating systems. I had the same experience with a very expensive Logitec remote controlled webcam. On the box is compatible with Windows Vista. But when I first bought it, I could download a driver from Logitec, so the camera worked perfect.
After I reinstalled my windows 7 recently. My cam would not work as it did before and I could not get the same drivers I had before.

So the want you to buy new computers for the new software, and then replace all the equipment attached, because your can't install correct drivers for the old gear.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Try www.logitec.com when I did this it took me to somewere else but just click on go to logitec, in the search field in the upper right hand corner type in "drivers" click on "downloads" on the next page, then search for your product name, shuld get the drivers you need. good luck hope this helps.

If you are using Windows it should automatically search for the drivers needed to install. Another option would be to go to the logitec website and download the drivers needed for your webcam. It walks you through installing your logitec on their site.
