90% chance that is the pump is pumping water at all, there is blockage between the tub and the drain pump. If there is no water coming out of the drain line. either extremely clogged(odd) or pump motor is bad, and windings are not allowing rotation.

Hi I have a fisher and pykel fresh smart drive 9 and its filled up with water but wont drain, ive tried advancing the cycle but all I get is a humming noise.please help

The humming noise is due to the drain pump being jammed due to clogging of dirt. All you need is to remove the drain pump and do a full clean up. You can also try to tap on the drain pump while it is humming as it will release the dirt and wash off.

Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer won't drain

Could be something in the pump. The pump is on the bottom of the tub.
It has a locking tab which you release and then twist the pump a hair and it will fall out. Warning: Have rags ready! I have the original GWL service manual and the GWL 11 supplimental manual. Let me know if you want them.

Fisher and paykel washing machine will not spin

Most likely something stuck in the pump, you need to look underneath to get to it, the pump turns anti clockwise to remove it.

GWL11 fails to drain

I had the same problem. After bailing out the water, I tipped the machine and saw a knee high panty hose caught up in the fan on the bottom. I removed that, checked to make sure the fan could spin freely, and viola! problem solved!

Fisher Paykel gwl11 washer leaking and squealing

Set the machine on its side and started taking it apart til the problem was obvious. Called Fisher for the parts. A big black seal is out and a bearing above the impellor that cools the motor, we ordered a pump assembly that is on the bottom side of the motor. I am still going to replace the water pump in the drain side, that is a no brainer. Will update on the repair when the parts arrive
