LG ku990 icon shows(application running)but don't know whats running. checked bluetooth and internet and all is closed. So don't know what application is running. tried switching off the phone (made a beep sound) but phone would not switch off. Was about to open and remove the battery but tried to switch off one more time. Phone then switched off. Restarted phone and icon(application running) was not showing. Question? What application could have been running?????

try and check if your bluetooth device shows visible on its settings. it may be on but not visible to another bluetooth.

Run services.msc (which is the service management tool)
You should see a Bluetooth Support Service, set this to start and then have it automatically start with windows as well.

However you may need to reinstall BT again and check for the properties of it.

I understand that you need an unlock code for your LG KU990 Viewty Phone.
1. insert original sim card and turn phone on. 2. Press telephone icon at bottom of screen to bring up the phone keypad 3. Enter 2945#*990# 4. A menu will pop up, select sim unlock 5. Enter your unlock code and press ok6. The phone will then reboot and the unlock is complete.

Bluetooth seems to work for both up and downloading. For uploading make sure the two devices recognise each other. Then select the file in the appropriate KU990 folder. Click in the little text box on the bottom left. Select Send then choose bluetooth and your target, which should be your bluetooth equipped mac. To download to the KU990 from Mac select send file in the blue tooth icon menu and proceed logically.

Yes like we all know the LG KU990 does not support WiFi technology, therefore you will not be able to have free access to the internet on this device. So it just depends on your Service Provider to allow internet access for your device through them but you will have to get one of their internet packages in order to do that and pay a monthly fee. I suggest you get the lowest monthly fee since it will still give you access to GPRS or EDGE connetions on you phone. But forget about your bluetooth and USB since none of this will connect your phone to the internet

You might want to try to Reset Settings and see if that works first

1. Go to Menu
2. Select the Settings tab
3. Select Phone Settings icon
4.Select Reset Settings.

Once you do this, turn your phone off and back on, and try this next if u have Bluetoot of turn it back on.

1. Go to the Bluetooth icon
2. And select Settings
3. Select My Address
Make sure your My Bluetooth shows an address like
00:1k:54:nj:54:m5 (not a real address but should be same form)
If your bluetooth addres has been removed or corrupted contact me back.

No there isnt but you can get the info off via the data transfere cable But you must have external memory installed Aslo you cannot transfere photos directly to iphoto Your mac will see your KU 990 as just another external memory device
