In Internet Explorer. Go to Tools in the upper left hand corner, then in that box click internet options at the bottom. A box will pop open.

In the top of that box will be an address. Delete it and type www.ask.com then hit ok at the bottom. Do not hit apply, hit ok. Should be good to go. Open a new webpage to make sure it stuck.

As a side note, if you don't see the line on top of your screen that says file, view, favorites, tools, and help do this...right click with your mouse on the top of the page ABOVE (not in) the address bar and make sure "menu bar" is checked.

Good Luck

SOURCE: i want to remove ask.com from my homepage and make

You need to provide the operating system and the browser information. There is usually an Internet Options control panel somewhere in the operating system. It usually has the option to enter the address of a new home page on the top layer of the menus in the control panel, then it gives you the option to apply the change.

I had yahoo mail as my home page, I went into ask.com and it just took over and changed my homepage to ask.com I can't seem to get it back , can you please help me?

You can change your home page in firefox by dragging the tab to the home icon.

In internet explorer, you will find it at tools>internet options under the General tab.

For other browsers, you can search for "change homepage (browser name)".
