Check top basket is straight and moves back fully, remove top spray arm and check holes are not blocked. The water pressure from the top arm is deminished if they are blocked and once the dispenser door opens it is the top spray arm water that propels the tab into the tank. Also, check that when your tallest item is in the bottom basket it does not obstruct the rotation of the top one.
Hope this helps to give you a starting point to remedy fault.

Same problem here. Try greasing the tablet 'drawer' flap with olive oil.

If no good just put the tablet on the cutlery rack.

Ensure that the arms below the baskets can move freely, dont overload the machine,
1 Have you put tablets into the door!
2 Rinse Aid in door!
3 Salt in bottom of machine if you live in a hard water area!
4 Do you know which cycle is which on the control panel you could just be rinseing everything instead of washing it!

no not if it getting hot it still sounds like the motor isnt coming on put the spray arms in the same position turn it on then open the door are the arms still in the same position or haved the moved.those cleaners need hot moving water to melt the seal.

is the tablet released from the dispenser? if not the solenoid in the unit has gone and the dispenser unit will need replacing.
