My daughter put diesel in her car not paying attention. So we changed the fuel pump, lines and filters and car still wont stay crunk longer than a few seconds. So we changed the computer and the motor and still doing the same thing. I thought maybe it had some sort of reset security feature but unable to find anything. What ever it is, it doesn't seem to be a serious problem just can't pinpoint what we need to change next. Please someone help before we spend anymore un necessary monet.

Look for alarm Brain box and look for wires coming out black and red going to valet switch. to turn valet on turn ignition in ON position and press-switch or flip depending on the type of switch. If it a basic alarm just disconnect the main wiring harness to alarm box- unplug and the car should start. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA
SOURCE: How to change fuel pump on 2005 Nissan Altima?
BEFORE YOU TRY TO START YOUR CAR, TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION AND STOP TO HEAR A WHISSING SOUND COMING FROM YOUR FUEL TANK. IF YOU HEAR THAT NOISE, THAT IS YOUR FUEL PUMP ENGAGING AND IT IS WORKING FINE. IF NOT, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GET IT CHANGED. ITS A GRUELING PROCESS SO HAVE A MECHANIC DO IT. IF YOUR FUEL PUMP IS WORKING, TRYING CHECKING THE PRESSURE OF YOUR FUEL. YOU MIGHT NEED A NEW FUEL FILTER(IT CAN GET CLOGGED UP) OR YOUR FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR MAY BE MALFUNCTIONING.

The fuel filter is a disposable unit located in the engine compartment, next to the power brake booster. The filter should be replaced at least every 30,000 miles (48,000km). A dirty filter will starve the engine of fuel and cause driveability problems.
