No don't do that. Take it to someone who services amps. They're all pretty much the same. Usually a couple of final-stage transistors are **** or the power supply is troubled. Good luck though!

How do you clear the map in a rowe ami laserstar nostaglia cd jukebox

hi
What model is your Rowe Ami jukebox, there will be an information label on the back or inside the jukebox with the serial number and the model type. We can suggest a solution once we know your model type.

Testimonial: "Hi Alan Do you have a website etc as I have two jukeboxes both AMI Rowe, one is a Ti2 this has a speed and selector, problem, the newer one I just need guidance on it plays ok this is an R-91 Many thanks Lisa"

Rowe Ami Jukebox buttons do not unleash

Hello Pedro,

You need to unlock the top door of the jukebox so you can operate the catches to get to the keyboard. The open relays R1 & R5 which are normally under a plastic cover, the open contacts on these relays need cleaning. Do not use any form of switch cleaner, just make a paper taper and pull this through the contacts to clean the contact tips.

The cover over my left oil tube is cracked, can I get a replacement ? How & where ?

Hello,

I would check out the Victory Glass website at www.victoryglass.com they have a range of trims for the One More Time plastic trims, you will need to find out what manufacturer made your jukebox i.e. Wurlitzer, Rowe Ami, Rock Ola or the earlier Antique Apperatus, Sound Leisure (parts available in the UK from Sound Leisure at Leeds).

I have an ami Rowe Model Laserstar CD100-F Jukebox that I purchased at a fundraiser. It works great but it has somehow switched from the mode where it plays without inserting $ to only playing when you put...

Put the slide switch in service position. Go past the errors (if any) by pressing Popular and Reset simultaneously then enter "55" the display should say "free play off" then hold down the reset key and push 9. This will toggle between "off" and "on" Toggle until the display indicates free play "on", then release the reset key and press the popular button. Put the service switch back in to the play position, The display should say "FP" however not all models display it exactly the same. If your computer's battery is good this setting will be retained. If you have to load the factory defaults for any reason OR another problem (dead battery) is causing the factory defaults to be loaded when you power on, this free play setting will be reset to "off" after power is interrupted.

Carosel doesnt turn on rowe ami r-82 jukebox

First check to make sure you are getting power to the drive system. If turntable is belt driven, check power to drive motor, then check the belt. Otherwise it is direct drive, which means the turntable is connected directly to ths motor and the motot will have to be replaced.

I have a 1979 rowe ami jukebox model R65 when i switch it on it plays one record then just spins the record magazine and wont select another record what parts do i need .

Hello Gary,

If your jukebox is ineed a 1979 model it would be a R-83 Fiesta, Claremont or Disco. These jukeboxes curved top to bottom.
I think your jukebox may be the 1981 R-85 Starwood, Starburst or Starlight.

If your jukebox is from the 1979 era upwards then it will be electronically controlled.

Hello camillemario,

The problem sounds as if there is a fault on the amplifier.
Pull the 110 volt plug from the power supply that feeds the amplifier.

If the amp is at fault and you are in the USA I would contact Bruce Wentworth for a test/repair to your amplifier.

Rowe Ami R-80 imperial jukebox

Hello Andy,

Yes I know the 1976 Rowe Ami R-80 jukebox very well as well as most of the other Rowe Ami jukeboxes.

The turntable motor and the lighting work off of the 110 volt output from the power supply.
The other power voltages are connected to the power supply via the molex plug.

Pin 1 30VDC white/red
Pin 2 30VAC yellow/black
Pin 3 Common black
Pin 4 Ground gren/yellow
Pin 5 No connection
Pin 6 Common black

All the voltages are protected by circuit breakers.

I assume that you may be in the UK if this is the case here are my contact details.
