Unable to get picture on LCD

There is a capacitor on the rear of all LCD displays that regulates voltage and the brightness. A good electronics engineer will replace the capacitor. I sewing machine tech will just replace the whole display unit.

Make sure the bobbin has thread. The manual should provide information in the troubleshooting section.

there should be an LCD brightness dial on the machine, make sure it hasn't moved. Otherwise a replacement LCD probably costs more than the machine is worth.

Hi, your cable cord on a PFAFF 7570 is a standard portable radio cable cord. Go to any radio or TV repair shop in your area and ask them for a figure 8 power cord.

look 3 inch down from left of screen there is a small wheel for adjusting brightness

It sounds like you have it configured properly if you have the little machine and computer appearing on the display screen. I had this problem too in the beginning, file assistant doesn't use the files for the 7570 its only for some of the newer machines, use Vip customize to send the design to the machine from the file drop down menu.
