You probably nees the "P" adapter made to attach the back to the camera. If your item did nopt come with one, you will have to buy it seperately. Go to Mamiya.com and download the owners manual pdf.

From the manual:
"If the error display is not canceled when the shutter release button is pressed again, insert the Dark slide, half-press the shutter release button while pressing the roll film holder's manual film advance button to wind up the film, then contact your nearest Mamiya agent or service center."

You likely have a defective display module, probably with a dead back-light. Try putting a newly charged battery in it, but if the problem persists, you'll need to send it in for service.

Squeeze the two handles on either side of the "120" or "220" label on the film holder to pull it out, then the spool is easily removed.

My mirror somehow got stuck open too, I removed the power winder and grasped the pins in the middle of the silver wheel underneath used to wind the camera. Turn this clockwise until it stops and shutter is completely closed. Test fire camera after. If it doesn't work make sure you wound it all the way.
