Can i play supreme commander with ati radeon 9200?

I's sure it is if you have the requirement to run this game. Include also 1GB Memory or up.
You need to install all the required support program to run this game, like DirectX9.0c and Microsoft Runtime SDK 6.0 or up version.

ATI mobility radeon 9200 on windows 7

I am using a HP Compaq Presario X1000 with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 display.

I have recently installed the Windows 7 RTM and tried various display drivers with no good results.

I am now using the driver from ftp.asus.com.tw/Pub/asus/nb/A4D/VGA_XP_2K_060102.zip

At first I unzipped the folder and run the setup program inside but it was not successful.

Then I go to the Device Manager, choose the display driver and choose "Update Driver"->"Browse my computer for driver software"->"Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"->"Have Disk"->"Browse"

click to the subfolder inside your extracted folder and find the folder named "2KXP_INF" and choose the inf files there and click "OK"

A list of device is displayed and I choose "ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9200"

the computer will install the driver and ask to restart the computer.

After restarting the computer my display was automatically set to 1680x1050, I found the following driver was installed:

Driver Provider: ATI Technologies Inc.
Driver Date: 1/19/2005
Driver Version: 6.14.10.6512
Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher

I went on to test Suspend and Hibernate and they WORKED!

I have not tried this on Vista as I was running XP and Ubuntu in the last few years.

Monitor off

First, check to see if you have the most current and up-to-date graphics drivers by going to http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx and choosing your current operating system and your video card type and down the newest drives.
Second, heat could be causing this as well. Make sure there is no dust buildup on the video card or in the fan, if your ok with opening your computer.

Cannot play FIFA09

Uh oh. It looks like you're out of luck.

FIFA 09 PC Requirement (minimum):
Graphics: 6600 Nvidia graphics card or ATI equivalent with support for Pixel Shader 3
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c"

Nvidia 6600 came out at 2004 and it supports DirectX 9.0C (Shader 3 came with 9.0C)
ATI Radeon 9200 came out at 2003 and only support DirectX 8.1 (which support shader 1.2 - 1.4)

Nope, Radeon 9200 will not support Shader 3 (neither will it support 2.0).

Time for a new video card maybe?

I hope this answers your question.

A fix problem when playing any games like EA Sports FIFA 2007

Problems with this kind of "PC Freeze" or Hang Up when oppening
games or 3D accelerated applications are you dont know what part
of your PC is failing... many of this problems are very hard to fix...
first of all it might be a power supply problem.. take note that it gives the proper current for your pc to work, therefore a failing PSU
will make your PC freeze... another one is your motherboard, if you have a faulty motherboard it might make your pc freeze... this might be a video card problem too... maybe your video card is overheating or it can also have conflict with your built in VGA
try disabling your Built in VGA... try cleaning your pc with dust and try to run it again... and last is your sound card... it might have conflicts on your onboard sound chip... try disabling it at your BIOS... as ive told you its complicated because you will never be sure what part of your pc is causing the problem...
and also check if your pc is overheating...

top 5 problems are
1. Power Supply is Failing
2. Video Card is overheating
3. Faulty Motherboard
4. Your PC is overheating
5. Hardware conflicts

i wish you good luck and i hope my reply helped... :)
