There is a round jockey wheel that turns the tape wheel, take of top cover off by finding screws, either buy a new jockey wheel, or boil the wheel in water for 10 minutes to make rubber soft.
Replacing jockey wheels is one of the easier tasks on a bike. You will two standard, 11 tooth jockey wheels. Investing in metal ones with ball bearings is a good idea. Use an aallen key to remove and replace one at a time, taking particular attention to the way the CHAIN goes around each jockey wheel.
order a new pulley jockey on line, i found mine for just over 12 pounds on amazon. you take the right hand side off. you will see jockey wheel, i took mine off, and just bolted the new one back in all ok now .
Tired serpentine belt thrown. replace belt. The reason that the heater has stopped is the ECU has realised that there is no charge so shut down heavy load(s). Before replacing, do check that water pump and alternator turn freely along with the jockey wheels.
If this is a manual engagment system all the lever does is to pull a jockey wheel into the back of the belt to tention it thus starting the blades to turn, so either the cable is jammed that pulls the jockey wheel in, or the jockey wheel arm is seized and needs freeing off to allow the jockey to to move to the relaxed position.
Just
remove the fan belt cover at the back, slacken the large bolt below the
motor and rotate the motor and install the belt. Then you need to tighten the belt. Push the jockey wheel harder against the
belt, then retighten the bolt.
It will entail taking the chain apart again (known as "breaking" the chain). The chain feeds UNDER the lower cog on the derailleur, BETWEEN the 2 cogs, and OVER the top one... then BEHIND the gear cluster and back OVER it. Run the other end AROUND the front chainwheels, through the front derailleur and re-connect. You may find it helpful to lay the bike on its side (sprockets up) and have someone hold rear derailleur to keep tension off the chain. Good luck to you.
Did you also remove the derailleur from the bike to do this? When you put it back on there's a tension screw that normally sits on a flat tab or portion of the right dropout to keep the entire assembly rotated toward the rear of the bike.
Or just go here. Pictures speak louder than words.
remove the drum and check the front rollers, and the jockey pulley/belt for wear.also grease the jockey pin,you need to know how to remove the back panels on these asko dryers so you may want to ring asko to do it.remove all outer screws, centre nut and three screws left side about 3 inches up from base.hope this helps.
