OK, I think that this is a problem with the flash not working correctly, and you are within the warranty period, I'm hoping, so that you can get it replaced.

Power shouldn't be an issue since you have a solar panel.

Means damage to LCD screen. As it does not affect the recorded images, learn to live with it.

Night photos and full zoom will cause your camera to choose a long shutter speed. You need to use a tripod for those pictures.

Many digital cameras have different settings for the background color, my Samsung L200 for example has a setting that will make the pictures normal, black and white, sepia OR have a red, blue or green tint....you may want to check those settings... Otherwise... check to ensure the lense itself is not smudged... I have seen a smudged/dirty lense cause a similar issue.. what type of camera is it??

To take night photo's you need to use a tripod. this will enable you to take long exposures without the blur. If you use flash it will only illuminate objects near the camera.

error 020000 relates to flash/flash charging...if new, take it back.I have repaired several by replacing the IR LED flash...easier fix than the incandescent units.

there are so many solutions to this I barely know where to begin.

First, set the Dial to M, then on the multimode (round) button, push on the left side to bring the exposure time up. For night shots I find that F2.7 and any time of 1" or more yields fairly good shots.

You should see the change in the view finder, or the lcd if you're one to use that.
