1992 honda accord stop running in middle of driving

I was driving my 1992 honda accord, and out of no where I gave it gas and it wouldn't go. No noise or smoke, my gages were fine and it had oil and water in it. It seems like it has been driving rough though. Idoling real low at stops and it has had a radiator and oil leak before. So when it wouldn't go after pressing the gas, it was almost like it ran out of gas, but that was not the case. Also the oil and the engine light came on.

When you turn the key to start, the engine cranks over? You must check for spark and fuel, if one is missing, the car won't run. Pull a spark plug, with plug wire connected and plug on a metal surface of the engine, have someone turn the key to start, while you watch for spark at the plug. It is easiest to see spark with car out of direct or bright light. If you have spark, attempt to start several times, pull a spark plug and check for evidence of fuel (wet) on plug. Let me know what you find, we can then continue.

Car problems

If you change your oil twice a year in that car your valves should be fine. I think it's your fuel filter. If the valves were stuck they'd get bent and you'd be smoking, the car would be knocking and it would barely start and run at all. The fuel filter is a stinky job, do it outdoors. Open your gas cap first to relieve the pressure in the tank or you'll get a little squirt of gas all over your hand. You will anyway, but it won't be so bad.
