Hi
E1 means no inlet pressure. Sometimes fault code shows if machine takes too long to fill. Kindly check for blockage in inlet pipe. Also check if water inlet is not filling and check if the water outlet valve is opening and there is sufficient water pressure.

On my machine the plastic filter that you will find when you remove the water inlet hose "from the machine" was blocked. Use a pair of pliers to pull the small plastic filter out and wash it under a tap. On my filter it was the sides of the filter that was blocked, which you will not see until you remove it.

E1 indicated long filling time. Perhaps the inlet filter has clogged. Check the inlet pipe and tap(faucet in usa).

The dishwasher had a flow meter and fill time was ok.
In the middle of a wash with no water being taken in, it flashed up E1.
I got rid of machine.
