SOURCE: okay im having a problem

I'm sorry, but the bottom line is that you cannot watch videos on the V55 with a 5th gen iPod. 4th gens work fine though. Apple made this change in their iPods after several aftermarket companies began losing money in their products not selling. In response, iPod apparently teamed up with those companies and installed a chip to "decode" the video content. You can hear audio, but see no video. It stinks, I know. I am just glad that I have a 4th gen video iPod.

However, I am posting here because I am looking through posts and blogs to find out how to fix my V55 as the screen is intermitently going bad.

SOURCE: I have a sonic impact technologies sonic impact

The battery is rechargable for about 400x. If you leave it on the charger too long or never let the battery run down it will shorten its life span. Sonic Impact no longer sells the replacement battery unit through their website and I have been looking for replacements myself. the problem is this: the battery unit is integrated with the battery cover and can not be separated. So you need the actual Sonic Impact battery, and they have not responded to any emails, requests for customer support or phone calls. Good luck.

For ipod 160g:

First, launch iTunes, click File option on menu, and import your video files to iTunes library. Then, connect your iPod to computervia USB cable, iTunes will detect your iPod. After that, click iTunes"File -> Sync iPod", and the video files will be transferred to your iPodfrom iTunes library. When updating completed, you will find the videoson you iPod.

P.S. Before add any video to Sonic Impact V55 Video player or 160GB Ipod, ensure the video is compatible with these media players. Daniusoft video converter could convert variou video to sonic impact, ipod, iphone 3gs, psp go etc for watching.

Connect iPod to sony STR DH-100

There is no direct way to connect an iPod to the Sony STR-DH100. You'll need to find the appropriate digital media port adapter for your iPod; they are no longer manufactured for sale.

The TDM-iP50 is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPod 4th generation and iPod 5th generation among others. See page 3 of the manual for the full list of compatible gadgets. The manual is currently available here: https://docs.sony.com/release/TDMIP50_US_ES_FR.pdf . Amazon lists some used models for sale. There is also the TDM-iP1 and TDM-iP10 which are compatible with some iPod models (4th, 5th generation). Again Amazon lists some used models of the TDM-iP10 for sale.

I can't tell you if any of the used digital media port adapters will work with your iPod version. I hope this information helps.

My sonic impact technologies sonic impact video 55 can not play my movie I don't not why. I hear my musie but can not see my movie on the screem. what can i do

If you have a later IPod, 6th Gen or later, Apple changed the software and Sonic Impact no longer plays your movies, but audio is fine. You can get around this by purchasing, from Apple, and adapter cable. It is $50 but allows you to charge your Ipod and play your movies on your home TV. The cable is really just a key that unlocks the TV Out setting. If you have and 5th Gen or earlier then you probably just need to go into video setting and select TV OUT : ON. I hope this takes care of your issue.

I have a Sonic Impact V55 Video player and a new 160GB Ipod. Anyway to get the video to work on it?

Absolutely, I have this myself. My 5th Gen works great, but the 160GB would not show movies, just played music. Apple has an adapter cable set that allows you to hook your Ipod to your TV. $50 buy it! You can charge and watch your stuff on your flat screen. It also unlocks your Ipod TV out setting for your Video 55. Set you IPOD video setting to TV Out: on, select your movie and play. Plug in the IPOD nip to your Ipod then set your Ipod into the Video 55. A bit of a pain but works flawlessly. If you select a different movie you have to do this all over again.
