Any Pci wireless card should do, although I'd go for a trusted make like Belkin, or Netgear. You basically want one with the following specification. (as an example)

My nx8220 laptop works fine with the ac power on but when I remove the AC power, the battery sign indicates it have 100% but only 15 minutes remaining. It then suddenly reduces to 50 % and shutsdown/...

My CD tray is not reading cd's or dvd's. can it be fixed?

i had a gateway and that happened. i had a bestbuy warenty. wat they did was replace the drive. if u buy a new one i suggest a hp or compaq cause when best buy replaced my gateway the hp seams to be reliable. dont buy from bestbuy
