I have a Sony LCD Projection TV and want to connect my Sony Vaio Laptop. The TV has a DVI input. However, when I connect my laptop to it, using a VGA-DVI cable, I do not get a picture. (If I connect to another TV, it works ok, so the laptop VGA output & Cable are ok).
The Sony LCD Projection TV says: ''DVI-HDTV Input: Can accommodate a copy-protected digital connection (HDCP)to other devices (such as digital set-top boxes). The DVI-HDTV input is compliant with the EIA-861 standard and is NOT intended for use with personal computers. See the instruction manual that came with your equipment for details about connecting it with the LCD Projection TV''
Any suggestions how to get around this? Why won't this TV project the image from my laptop??
Thanks!!
Greg
