Turn it off and back on. Click the windows icon in the lower left. When the windows menu comes up, look to the right and the word shutdown will be there. and next to it is a little arrow. If you just want to shut it off, hit shutdown. If you want to restart, hibernate ir standby the computer, hit the little arrow and select what you want to do.
