Cant recharge my sony ericsson sterio bletooth headset HBH-DS970.a friend of mine said it might work if i open it up and take the battery out and after that i charge it with an external 12v.but i dont knw how to open it and whether it will affect anything. it dont have any warranty.

You should press both + and - button on your head set and wait until green light turns into red.

turn the bluetooth on wait 10 seconds after the bluetooth has turned on. after it has turned on hold the (+) & (-) volume buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. the light on the outside will then start to flash green and red, and it is ready to pair to your phone.

1) Make sure headset is off. 2) Press and hold the answer button until the light flashes green and red. 3) If it only flashes green, press and hold both volume buttons until the light lashes red and green. 4) It is now ready to pair: follow the instructions in the bluetooth menu of your phone. When asked for the passcode enter 0000. 5) All done.
