Looking for compatible upgraded p4v8x-x motherboard

This problem could be caused by a near flat BIOS battery. Replace the BIOS battery and go into the BIOS configuration and set the Date and Time etc.

From this official link you can download the drivers you're looking for. Note that there are no official Windows 7 drivers, so if you use win7 after the download finish, right click on the installation file, go at the compatibility tab and check the box for windows xp compatibility (assuming that you download the windows xp drivers). you are not using a compatible cpu.

You can find drivers at the asus site. However, If you select "motherboards" from the "Windows7 supported product models" list on the left side of the page, you will find the p4v8x-mx is not listed. There are no W7 drivers available.

You can still find drivers for supported OSes with the search function on the page. Pick "motherboard" from the product drop-down menu, then pick "socket478" from select series. Pick your model from the "select models" menu, and finally choose the operating system.

If you want to upgrade your system to W7, you'll need a newer motherboard as well.

You can download the Bios file from the following link and extract ROM file to a floppy disk. Insert the disk into FDD and follow instructions.

ya it has ddr u could beef ram up aint much chip u can get higher in this mobo need new mobo to run quad cores amd ect is am2+ mobo better cheaper ram too get more up to 8 gb 16 sum mobos on new egg

This motherboard has an 8x AGP slot. So any 8X AGP graphic cards will suit this mobo. As your local reseller for any 8x AGP based graphic cards from ATI or Nvidia.
