I believe that my display module is flawed

This is a Panasonic Toughbook CF51.

It will not fully boot normally. The display works when I F2 but is hard to read. There are little blue verticle oval dots all over the display. It will boot n the Safe mode but refues to do a complete boot in the normal mode and finally shuts dpwn from a black screen.

I was told that the motherboard would have to be replaced to correct this problem.

Cf-30 disable touchscreen

On all Panasonic Toughbook Notebooks,
you must get into the BIOS by pressing
the F2 Function key when you turn on the
Toughbook as it is booting. Press F2 repeatedly.
This must be done in the 1-2 seconds before
Windows starts to load. Then you will see
Touchscreen usually on the 2nd page with the
word "Enable". Simply select enable and press
"Enter" and the choice between enable and disable
will appear. Then select "Disable" with the cursor
and then press Enter. Finally you need to
"Save and Exit" the changes in the BIOS.
That is it. Good Luck to you.
