This is a stupid question...but i am having trouble hooking up my wii. i cant seem to hook up the rca cords properly in the back of the tv. Too many freaking hook ups in the back. please help. the best i can do is get black and white picture with horrible sound.

Your going to need the original remote to switch back to AV input in the menu. It should explain in the owners manual how this is done. If you do not have that or cannot find the manual go to a search engine and look up emersom dowmloads it will show up as http://www.emersonusa.ca I think PS dont forget to rate this.

you have a bad tuner you can replace it or use vcr if you still have one around. hook it up with av cable like your ps2 and hook your cable to it and use it to change channels. If you want to replace the tuner it will require soldering and you will have to order it somewhere. i would try partsore.com. The tuner is the metal can the cable goes into inside the tv.

possibly the mainboard is faulty or possibly the power board but since you get a power led .. Id suspect the mainboard.
Oh this is a old style tv? Id have it checked but the repairs might cost alot.
