My ibook G3 was completely flooded under the water. I've got the service manual but I don't think it has all the info I need. What can I do to clean it? I have been keeping a fan on it.

i know this is gonna sound weird, but trust me, it works. get a zippable plastic bag large enough for your laptop and then put your laptop in it. after that, fill the bag halfway with uncooked rice and try to make sure there is as little as possible air in it. let it sit for about 2 days. this should work because the rice will absorb the water in your laptop.

It dried with dirty water inside it, which means there's a residue of
dirt left inside it. Since it was under the water for eight hours and
it can't hurt it any more, I am going to wash it out with distilled
water. I've found something that can detox at a local electronics store and will let everyone know how it turns out,
my iBook G4 notebook was accidentally got splashed with water, when I turned it off and turned on again, the screen doesn't display anything,
