Macbook won't accept CD's/DVD's in Disk Drive

do you usually lean or put any pressure on the area above the slot-load optical drive? If you have anything flat and plastic around 1/4" (about 1/2 the width as a USB plug) stick it in the optical drive until you just feel it going past the door, and rotate 90 degrees so it opens it a little. Brand new apple dvd drive will not accept dvd

The DVD works by just pushing it in far enough till you get resistance, then the drive pulls the DVD in by itself. If after it pulls the DVD in, it just ejects it, The DVD drive thinks you are using an incompatible disk. You can also try resetting the SMC. This is how to reset SMC on most modern Mac laptops: Shutdown your MacBook Air / MacBook Pro Connect the power adapter to your Mac On the MacBook/Pro's keyboard, hold down the Shift+Control+Option keys and the Power button at the same time Release all keys and the power button at the same time Boot your Mac as usual Here's the key sequence to hold down: Reset the SMC of a MacBook Air or Retina MacBook Pro Do keep in mind that by resetting the SMC you will lose power specific settings, like the time it takes to sleep a Mac and other customizations to power settings. No big deal, but if you have made many changes to your hardware behavior you will want to adjust stuff like sleep behavior again. Reset SMC of an iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Mini Resetting SMC is different for non-portable Macs: Shut down your Mac Disconnect the power cord Press and hold the Mac's power button for 5 seconds Release the button Reattach the power cables and boot the Mac as usual Reset the SMC of a MacBook or MacBook Pro's with detachable batteries sad mac reset the smc Older MacBook laptops with a removable battery can reset SMC with the following approach: Shutdown the MacBook/Pro and remove the battery Disconnect the power adapter, hold the Power Key for 10 seconds Release the power key and reconnect your battery and power adapter Turn your Mac on Let boot as usual Hopefully that will clear up your problems, if not it might be worth a visit to the Apple Store or a certified repair center. Happy New Year, Kerry

You are experiencing RSS (random shutdown syndrome). This seems to often be due to overheating but there are other factors. Read this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237 and see if a firmware update is available for your laptop. This will often cure your very issue.

I want it to log me into

What is wrong? Did you forget your password? Or the login name? or did you have a crash? Did you reinstall something? Or did a "funny" guy just change your password and forgot to tell you? Don't panic, Apple should be able to help you if you have an apple account, and you have that password.

LAPTOP DONT POWER UP

Make sure that the power cord is plugged into a working outlet, that the prong section is connected with a clean contact to the brick, that the magsafe connector and port are both clean. Remove the battery. Now power on the laptop with the power button. If this does not work, attempt to reset the NVRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379). If this is still not working, you can disassemble the machine and remove the upper part of the bottom case (lifting the keyboard section, and try to reseat the keyboard connection to the logic board. This cable is what allows the power button to turn on the machine. If this fails to fix it, then you have either a bad i/o board, or a bad system board, or a bad power cord.

Left side display not clear

If you're getting blocking, you might want to try SMC fan controller to get your machine cooled down. If you're just missing a section of the screen displaying, it might be a faulty LCD screen or a loose connection. Check that the ribbon is fitted correctly. After re-seating the cable, if it is still a problem, then the LCD is probably bad.
