Maytag skybox not dispensing

before replacing parts. unplug it and from back and under neath get all the dust out,best to blow air in there to remove dust than plug it back in and leave it on number 3 setting for 6 to 8 hours than if cold you can adjust the settings.

Check the wiring harness at the bottom of the door AND the child lockout switches at each bin. The switches disable the bin in the down position.

The temperature in the SkyBox is controlled by the thermostat located within the beverage compartment. If set too high, product can feeze. In addition ice will build up behind the dispenser assembly. The ice buildup can eventually make contact with the circulating fan blade and cause a constant noise.
You should hear the compressor stop running as you turn down the cold control, but prior to reaching the "off" position. Select a lower setting for the cold control, and unplug the unit for 24 hours with door open to thaw out the ice build up. Reconnect power to resume normal operation.

The SkyBox operates with two individual systems. The dispenser assembly, the LED indicators and the circulating fan operate on a low voltage circuit. The circulating fan runs anytime the SkyBox is plugged in.

The cooling system operates on 120vac. The cold control inside the beverage compartment is an on demand switch that sends 120vac to the compressor when cooling is needed. There are no parts available for the compressor, so if it determined that power is reaching the compressor, the windings are ok, a 3 in1 hard start kit (Supco URCO210) can be installed by a qualified service technician.

I have intermittent problems with one dispenser and disassembled the system and swapped drive motors for the dispensers. The problem followed the motor. Partselect.com shows that they sell the individual rack assemblies but I have not yet ordered one. I am trying electrical supply stores to see if I can just buy the motor but I doubt they will be able to track it as it has no markings.

It is either a bad control board or a transformer.

Have you checked the child-lock buttons?  They are located on the right side of the machine and are accessible only when the door is opened.

TroJo, Try PartSelect.com for Skybox parts. I ordered a part on Monday night and installed it on Wednesday night. The parts are not that hard to find. Appliance repair services can replace your compressor or add freon. Be sure you have plenty of ventilation behind your machine. Jonmon

REMOVE LITTLE BOARD FROM END OF 3 WIRE HARNESS. 3 WIRES ARE   COM   ,NORM OPEN   NORM CLOSED . 1 WIRE SHOULD HAVE X ON IT. THIS IS NORM CLOSED. DO NOT NEED THIS WIRE.  THE 2 END WIRES ARE DEAD SHORT DO NOT  TOUCH TOGETHER. JUST MIDDLE WIRE AND WIRE WITHOUT X PRINTED ON IT. IF YOU DO NOT SEE X ON WIRE JUST HOOK UP MIDDLE AND 1 END WIRE , WHEN YOU CONNECT DOOR PLUG AND TAPE BLACK MAIN DOOR SWITCH CLOSED THE RIGHT 2 WIRES WILL ACTIVATE DISPENSER .HOOK UP THESE WIRES TO A COMMON WINDOW ALARM SWITCH MAGNET TYPE. SILICONE TERMINAL MAGNET TO UPPER RIGHT DOOR FRAME ,THE OTHER MAGNET TO UPPER RIGHT FLAPPER DOOR SIDE , MAGNETS MY HAVE TO BE 1 INCH APART TO OPEN WHEN CAN JARS THE DOOR. WHEN SILICONE DRIES HOOK UP THE MIDDLE WIRE AND END WIRE THAT ACTIVATES DISPENSER  NOW YOU HAVE AN OPEN AND CLOSE WAY TO RESET DISPENSER CYCLE.  NOTE  DO NOT USE END WIRES TOGETHER    CENTER WIRE ONLY   X WIRE NOT USED.

Since it's only one dispensor unit you should be able to eliminate "common" items and find out what controls just that one dispensor. The faint click may be from a bad relay (relay coil works but doesn't pass voltage on contacts). You will likely have to take the thing apart to check the control board. Here's a diagram of the unit so you can see where everything is at.
