For some reason the 411 number now appears in the directory on the front of the phone screen. If I am not careful and do not shut the phone off completely when a call is ended, I will have a problem. I throw the phone in my purse. Buttons are inadvertently pressed and the phone calls 411. Interestingly enough, no other phone numbers are dialed. I have 5000 anytime minutes, so calls are not a problem. It is a problem when the phone dials 411 since each call costs $1.25. Is there any way to remove 411 from the directory on the front of the phone?

The problem is that in Step 3 the "Dial Alternate" option does
not appear - only "Dial", "Copy to Dir", and "Copy To 1-Touch" appear when
scrolling thru as described in the instructions.

This item appears to have a DC input jack on the front. Bring it to your local Radioshack and they can get you a replacement adapter with the right plug and voltage.

Sounds like you shut the CCR tree down. Go to AA>table>1>CCR>chng>1>enable. that should take care of it

First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.
