I have a Toshiba A135-S2276, ever since my laptop performance is so bad. The most work thing that happen is that it hang up and I decided to restart it. When I power it on again it ask me a password that I don't know..I try to reset it by shorting the JOPEN1 but still nothing happen it still ask me a password. Can anyone can help me, i need help badly...thanks for the help.

Resetting this bios requires you opening the whole laptop. Its is a more technical issue and i will advice you get it to toshiba support center so they help you.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to remove the battery on your Toshiba laptop as it is soldered on the motherboard.
You can try some BIOS hacks, just google them.
Or you can try and take your laptop apart (use the manual), locate the BIOS battery, take it out and leave it for 5-10 minutes and the password should be reset either to default or nothing.

The technician will remove the jumper inside the laptop which is integrated on the motherboard and the BIOS Password will be reset. All issues regarding the BIOS Password are directly handled by Toshiba Authorized Service Provider.
