Remote problem

Find the web-site for your remote control, and download the manual for the remote. The remote needs to be programmed to send the correct signals to your TV.

0056 is the code for the LG TV.

My Remote doesn't work, replaced the battery's works for the TV, but not the recorder, is there a default reset on the recorder? because I've changed the dvd3 to dvd1 so I'm not getting anything to display...

make sure remote and dvd select the same setting DVD1 on dvd recorder, so DVD1 on the remote, ther is some writing in the manual how to change the remote from dvd 1 to 2 and 3

Hi... There are a number of places online that sell remotes for your unit
Do a websearch on your model # and add "remote" to the search

you may have to press the audio button or set the audio stream on the dvd's (disc) menu, as some films use the 2 channel audio as default

Cannot remove caption

Press the info button once on the HXD890's remote control (button top right on the main circle in the middle). All should then dissappear.

I have a rh 265 remote and lg tv. It stopped controlling the tv. I hold the tv power button down on remote then pushed 1 at the same time. It reset it to work with my tv.

Can't record onto disc

press dub on your remote, it will open the menu choose your programme you want record then click on hdd to disc.

Sony tv is not compatible with lg dvd remote nor lg tv remote u need to get a sony bravia remote visit ebay with ya tv model ask for it
