SOURCE: cannot locate the fuse in the liteon power supply

The fuse is internal, and soldered to the circuit board. It can be replaced by soldering - an old-timers trick is to get a new fuse (with pig-tails) and just solder in parallel with the old - no removal needed.

yes this is common rating for laptop any laptop adapter can be replaced see the output voltage and current of another adapter matching . if connector is not matching then solder the matching connector

Name of wire based on color coding wire

Special (only on the ATX conector)
-Green is PSon(put a wire between green and black to turn the power on)
-Gray is PWRGOOD
-White is -5V(optional)
-Blue is -12V
-Purple is 5VSB(Always on when the PSU is plugged on)
Power
-Orange is 3.3V
-Red is 5V
-Yellow is 12V
-Black is Ground (0V)

Remove power supply from PC, connect it to AC power, then connect green wire with any black wire.
If it starts - check 12V AC, 5V AC.
If it doesn't - there are no user serviceable parts inside, just replace power supply

Most power supplies have a fuse in them. That is most likely the problem. Otherwise, if you open them up, you can see which capacitor has gone bad, 'cause they will have obviously ruptured.

My hp computer liteon power supply box is damage because when computer is open then i decrease voltage switch at 15vlt then power supply box do one big sound and smog out. Now its not working.

You will have to buy a new power supply. And hopefully you did not damage your laptop.

Hi my acer aspire 4315-2490 power cord is malfunctioning and it is not supplying power to the laptop. What power cord models can I buy to replace or is it fixable?

I've got the same Snap Server 1000 and lost the supply some time ago - I found a LiteOn monitor supply model PA-1400-02 does the trick and fits exactly.

Spec is 3.33A 12Volts DC out, positive inner, negative outer.

power supplies are easy to replace. usually 4 screws. open the pc. remove the screws and unplug it from the motherboard. a replacement costs 40-60 dollars. plug it into the same place(s) you unplugged the original pwr supply. replace the screws. replace the cover and thats it.
