I've got the same Snap Server 1000 and lost the supply some time ago - I found a LiteOn monitor supply model PA-1400-02 does the trick and fits exactly.

Spec is 3.33A 12Volts DC out, positive inner, negative outer.

Hope that helps.

WHAT ARE TRANSFORMERS

Wall socket power (high voltage) is known as AC (Alternating Current). Battery power (low voltage) is known as DC (Direct Current). Transformers are electrical converters that change AC input to DC output or DC input to AC output. This is required to charge or to supply mains power for most portable devices that use batteries when not plugged in, or devices that do not have batteries but still require DC power input. Examples of such devices are laptops, phones, tablets, printers, print servers etc. A transformer for your print server is most likely a black box in line with the power cable. In this case you will need a new power cable which will include the transformer. Some transformers are within the device itself with a power socket in the back of the device. If this is the case then replacement of the transformer (or sometimes the whole device) is required depending on the price of parts, sometimes replacing the whole device is cheaper.

Identifying specs of blown transformer on PCB

I have the same problem, with the same transformer. Did you ever find the specs?

I was thinking of buying the Frigidaire board, connecting to line voltage and measure output voltage.

Connect HP Proliant ML350 Server.

Hi,

Please verify if your server power specs support 110 or 220 V. If you are in the US, eventhough you might have connected a 220V cable the line voltage can be 110.
Check with your power company if they can provide you the necessary wattage of the server.(Specs are printed on the power supply. you can read it from HP web also)

Once you are sure that, connect both power suppllies and try booting.

If the error still occurs, it can be a power supply failure or some other hardware failure.

Regs,

Quantum superloader not showing in windows device manager

First off, I have to say that I have had nightmares with Quantum tape libraries. It is possible that they are still manufacturing lemons. I had one replaced 4-times and it still did not work!

Start troubleshooting by making sure that it is identified by the controller card it is connected to. You should see this during the server POST before Windows starts. If you don't see it there then Windows definitely won't see it. Send it to Quantum for service.

If the controller sees it then make sure that you are using the Backup Exec drivers. Never use the manufacturer's drivers with Backup Exec. Veritas, now Symantec, has a downloadable utility called the Device Driver Installation Wizard that will make sure you have the correct driver loaded.

I hope this helps.

Laserjet 1000 & DI-524UP

The HP LaserJet 1000 is a Host Based printer and so is not compatible with your router's USB print server.

You cannot use this printer with this print server, it needs to be connected directly to a computer that can run the HP drivers/software.

From D-Links tech specs for your router:-

** Host-based printers are not supported. Please check with the printer manufacturer if your printer model is host-based (GDI).
