Hi,
I just bought a new Oster 0.7cu ft microwave oven just two months ago. It was working great till 3 days ago. I went onto heat the food and it just died on me. The display and everything just disappeared. I don't know if I blew a fuse or something. I don't even know what part of the oven needs replacement, if at all. I tried another electric outlet, but no the outlet is fine, it is the microwave oven. The customer service number on the manual is useless and so is Oster's website.
Please help because I don't want to throw this oven away. It still has the new oven smell out of the box, as I don't use it that often and it is only a few weeks old!!!

This morning my microwave Oster 0.7 Cu. (Model:OM0701A8B) suddenly got down during "Reheat." I tried to remove the plug from the outlet, and plug it in again. But, it was dead. I tested the outlet with another appliance. The outlet is fine. I don't know the reason. If fuse blows, should I choose which option; buy new one again or repair it?
I have the same "oven just died issue". There is a 250v 15amp fuse on the circuit board where the power cord enters the unit. In my case, that fuse is blown. The question I have, is if another component in the unit is defective, or if it just isn't a good quality fuse. Radio Shack doesn't carry a fuse that size with the same rating.
Same issue. I can't locate a fuse of the correct length. It is easy to find a 250v 15a fuse but they are all too long.
