Acer laptop keyboard and touchpad not working Have had the acer aspire 5100 laptop for two years. Would not boot up. Sent to have fixed under warrany. Came back the boot up was fixed but now the keyboard and mouse does not work. I have tried all the know fixes. remove the battery, hold start button for 60 sec. restart with just power cord ... still no mouse, touch pad or keyboard. I am sending it back to the warraty folks one more time. They must fix it or replace with s new pc. Time will tell. Has anyonr found a fix. I heard it was related to the battery but you would think removing the battery would solve this. I have also heard that using the USB port in correctly can cause this. You know, removing the device before Safely remove feature is activated. Oh well - This really stinks. You would think ACER would have a suggestion somewhere to fix this since a lot of users are having this problem. Tommy
