SOURCE: heat strip installation
It was quite simple, just installing the heat strip and my model only required removing the grill cover and mounting the element. The other optional installations didn't apply to my model.
thanks,

SOURCE: roof gasket on rv a/c
Try not to compress gasket past 1/2 it's original thickness. Most of the factory ones have tabs that stick down, and supposedly when they touch the roof, it's far enough, which is about same as 1/2. I use my cordless with the torque setting on it, at about 2-3 until I see how far that draws down, then increase/decrease as needed from there.Once i feel it's 1/2 way, I torque all at same setting on drill to make sure all equal.

16. SYSTEM RESET
a. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position.
b. Simultaneously depress and hold the MODE and ZONE
push-buttons while turning the ON/OFF switch to ON.
FF should appear in the LCD display until the MODE
and ZONE push-buttons are released.
c. When a dip switch is turned on or off after initial configu
ration, a system reset will need to be done before the
Comfort Control CenterTM will recognize the updated selection. Try this. This is for the five button thermostat. Did you check the dip switches to be sure the proper ones are turned on? I need to know which stat you have 4 or 5 button. I have trouble shooting for both.
If you notice reset needs to take place after a dip switch is turned on or off. The dip switches are on the circuit board. You need to drop the lower cover. the dip switches will read in this order #1 heat strip/ #2 zone2/#3zone3/ #4 zone4/#5 furnace/#6 differential/#7stag/#8 gen start. Check this out and be careful. Turn off the stat to change dip switches. On will be toward the description. If you don't have remote start gen set the dip should not be on. If you dont have a Zone 3 the dip should not be on, etc.

SOURCE: How to put refrigerant in Demotic RV Rooftop Air Conditioner
You will need to add a self tapping port to the suction side of the unit. You will have to determine what the size of the pipe is and then go to a local a/c supply company and buy one. It's kind of like a self tapping supply for water but for high pressure. Hope this helps. I would also put one in on the high side as well so you don't blow the valve in the compressor if you over charge it or the system is dirty.

Remove all covers and look down with them removed and see if the coil drain pan has a stopped up exit where the water drains out and into the rear of the AC unit.
If the unit is off level it could cause a draining problem too.
