Thread problems My Futura machine beeps and tells me the thread is broken and it isn't. Why does it keep beeping when there is nothing wrong with the thread. I have checked to make sure it is threaded correctly. It has worked fine since I bought it two months ago and has just stared doing this.

It sounds like it may be a tension problem. Mine does the same...I turn the knob and do a few manual stitches to be sure, then press the bottom button to resume...hope this helps!

I have a singer futura ses1000, it sews a few stitches then stops and beeps and the 19 blinks what it wrong with it.

19 is broken thread detect. I assume it's not breaking thread?

Could be thread has escaped first thread guide near spool and/or tension is extremely low or not at all.

Do you feel difference in no tension when foot up verses set tension when foot down?

Singer futura 250. while sewing the E4 code

Are you using bobbin thread? Is your thead new? Is themachine threaded correctly?

Make sure that when you thread the upper part the thread go under the circle that pull it.

Another thing is that when you hit the start button, pull the upper thread until the machine goes two or three times. It helps the bobbin thread to come up and the machine start sewing.I you leave it along the thread sometimes doesnot comes up and that is why the machine beeps.

I use this technique to make sure it doesnt beep and to cut the thread (the one at the beginning so it doesn't mess my design)

Singer futura beeping every 8 stitches can you solve this .i have changed needles bobbin cases but still doing it but is sewing ok just stops to beep

Make sure your thread goes under the plate of the carrousel. If not the machine think is not threaded and it beeps. Thread the machine with your left hand and Pull the thread with your other hand to make sure it "clicks" to every part of the machine.

Another important detail is to add thread nets to your spool. After some used the tension of the machine is affected and the nets help the slippery thread to be pulled by the machine correctly and avoiding the beeping.

As I am sewing it will beep and I have to pick my foot up and start again. It will beep like every 10 stitches. the threading is correct, no needle broken, and it sews fine, however, it continues to beep...

I just had this happen to me recently. The machine will beep if it senses any slack in the thread. In my case, the thread that feeds from the spool to the guides under the plastic disc was not all the way in. Re-thread the machine and pull forward on the thread as it passes the guide.

"thread breakage detected"

I had the same problem and one day my 9 year old said Mommy the thread is winding and cathing. I noticed that if the thread is not close to the silver metal arm it coils and makes a knot around the silver feed arm and also sometimes it cathces the little white plastic peace where the silver feed arm is connected to the machine.

My Futura CE-150 beeps and stops sewing after only a few stitches

Look for the buttonhole lever, just in front of the presserlever, on the lefthand side of the machine. Pull it down and push it back to the top. Good Luck

Sewing straight stich

I had the same problem and it turned out the tension was too tight. I had the thread spool holder too tight against the thread spool.
