The dryer runs for a few minutes (it does heat up and turns), then shuts off. It will not restart immediately, but will restart if you wait fifteen minutes or so. The vents are clean.
Thermo sensor inside is bad (are you sure ALL vents and pipes are clear?)
The vent was clogged. I have vacuumed out the vent that leads outside the house. I replaced dryer duct. It is still doing the same thing.
The thermal switch on the motor is triping. Prab caused by lint build-up around the motor possible cloged vent but if that was the case it would be taking longer than usual to dry a load of clothes which would be noticed before the motor begins to shut off.
