Eddie Bauer wireless thermo clock - Time zone problem

I cannot permanently set my Eddie Bauer wireless thermo clock 0465 to Eastern Standard Time. Every time that the radio control syncs with the atomic clock, it resets the time that I had entered to Pacific Standard Time. How do I permanently change the time zone?

What a POS, why can't the atomic clock line up with the new time table?????

I have multiple atomic clocks and I have to set them manually, what's the point?

    Can anyone fix this?

Same problem time won't stay at my time zone. If anyone finds a fix to this please post it. I am waiting on a reply from Eddie Bauer. I will post if they give me a fix.

Thank you very much Divenut. Your solution resolved the problem with the time zone as well as restoring my highly temperamental remote temperature sensor back to life!

By way of clarification - the only keys that you need to use are the 'Mode' and 'Adj'.

Mode and Adjust will fix your problem. To fix the outdoor temp. you may need to
use a paper clip on the reset on the back of the clock.

I wrote mode and adj on some painters tape and put it on the bottom of the clock.
I know I will not remember this in a few years when the batterys need replacing.

A big thumbs up for the internet that we take for granted.

It's most likely because of Daylight Saving Time. Your clock receives a signal through the air once a day from the actual atomic clock, much like a cell phone receives the time from your cell phone service provider, and it automatically resets itself to the exact time each time it receives this signal. Remember that the middle of the year (the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November in the US) is Daylight Saving Time for much of the United States. The clock has an option that allows you to set whether you are observing Daylight Saving Time or not. If this is set to "off", the time will be one hour behind until Daylight Saving Time ends (November 7th). Make sure this is set properly, and your problem will be solved.

How do I reset the time when I move into a different time zone

mcdevito75 here, You re-set the time in a different time zone the same way as you do for the time zone your in now. The different time zones in the USA ru from 1 to 3 hours before the time in the Eastern part of the USA, example, Eastern time 3 PM, then going West, you have Central time 1 hour before, then Mountain time, 2 hours before , then Pacific time 3 hours before eastern time.

Silicon scientific atomic projection clock did no reset for daylight saving. Help

I have one of these, and look for the manual on the 'Net every time DST changes, and eventually figure it out. Here's how: (1) Hold down the ALM/SET button until you get past the alarm setting and you see 24H or 12H. (2) Step through the settings by pushing the ALM/SET button, changing each as desired by pressing the +/CYCLE button. Eventually you'll wind up with the time zone indication flashing (it's really tiny, and appears just below the time indication). Press the +/CYCLE until you get to the desired time zone. (3) After the screen quits flashing, press the -/DST button to get the desired setting. I hope this helps, and that I can find this post again next time change!

This watch will set itself at specific time set times, this is likely to be at 0200 0400 and 0600.
You will however be required to set the time zone, the switch is likely to be on the back.

The "mode" button is there to change the function of the + & - buttons.

If you press the mode button several times you will cycle through the various setting features of the clock.

Look for the one that sets the time zone and use the + or - buttons to select your zone.

Some experimentation may be required!

From the normal time position, press Mode and the AL function will come up which is where you set the alarm. Instead of pressing SET, press the up arrow. Each time you press the up arrow it changes function. When the alarm function is on a little bell appears above the colon in the time. The snooze has a ZZ that appears below the colon. The unique feature of this clock, is that it is the only one I have seen where the alarm works in the time zone selected. Most others, the alarm only works the home time zone, not the selected time zone. This is a huge improvement.
