I need to put the lower pieces of my dishwasher back correctly.

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher. I'm not sure the details--we just moved in and I don't have any paperwork, etc. The dishwasher has a stainless look and is pretty simple, in terms of buttons, nobs.

I was cleaning the bottom because it was pretty nasty from sitting water (no one has lived here for almost 9 months). The lower pieces all came out--what looks like a filter screen, the arm that swings around and a little basket that seems to snap in place--and now I'm not sure how to put them back correctly. I've tried finding a picture of the order of those pieces online, but haven't had any luck. I don't know if they need to snap in place or just kind of sit there or what.

Any ideas?

THANKS!!!

Just installed a new dishwasher. It will not fill with water. Power on, water on, overfill valve moves free. Water does not go in unit @ all. I can hear pump run.

Hello Tony, I appreciate your inquiry!
I see that your Frigidaire dishwasher is not filling with water and it has just recently been installed. Is your door shut tightly? Also, are there error codes or lights being displayed on the control panel? I would suggest reading back through your installation guide to make sure all the steps were correct. If you continue to have issues with your dishwasher I would recommend reaching out to your manufacturer for proper warranty procedures. -Matt

Does not drain

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Upper spray arm broke off

I hope it did not break, only came off. I had the same problem. You have to unscrew the round part from the ceiling of the dishwasher, put the three pieces together, easy, and then screw the whole thing back. No tools needed. Top rack can stay on while working. It helps if the dishwasher is empty. If the threading is good, this should solve the problem.
