Sony does not make available any software or drivers for this item on the Mac. That's not an issue at all! Just connect it up to the Mac with a USB cable and it should show up right on your desktop. If you need to edit the audio files store on the recorder, you can use GarageBand or Audacity.
unfortunately not at this time, a work around is use virtualPc or Parallels and install winxp or higher as a virtual machine. then you will be able to access your recorder
There is no way to dump the data from the ICD-PX720 to a Mac. However, you can hook a 1/8" stereo cable, male at both ends, to the PX 720 and the line-in inputs on your Mac. Open Garage Band and record what you have on the PX720 in real time to Garage Band. I have been doing this with our church radio program, although I am considering junking the Sony and getting something that is actually compatible.
