2008 precedenmt golf cart dash light keep coming off an on

you cut the wires trim off some plastic and attach a spst switch on both wires.

Note - You must have an Armature License to legally perform this conversion.
1. Remove bottom cover from radio. 2. On the main PCB, locate J33. (See diagram above) 3. Locate wires on pins marked "P5" (yellow) & "P6" (grey). 4. Cut wire on "P5" (yellow) and install a SPST switch in line. 5. Cut wire on "P6" (grey) and install a SPST switch in line. NOTE: By using two of the function switches available on the radio will eliminate the need for two new switches to be installed and mounted.

If it came apart your best bet would be to purchase a new one. These switches take a lot of pressure on them as the door is constantly being opened and closed. If you did get it back together I do not think it would last long.

I don't find the Paragon 4004-20 listed in manual.
4004-71 is shown, and uses wiring diagram 3

Manual shows wiring diagrams, depending on how many screw terminals and loads you have, and voltage of clock motor and voltage of load.

Spst stands for single pole single throw so you are only switching one wire,simply cut the wire in two and put the switch between the two ends.
