TV Vizio model M3D550KDE Panasonic Blue Ray Disk Player model DMP-BDT220CP Yamaha Sound Bar model ATS-1010BL Thanks for your help, I have been Unsuccessful with the methods outlined in your manual. I have been with Dish Network less than a week and still fumbling with four different controllers. Thanks for your help Ed
Ed Fox,
I can definitely understand the concern. Below I will give the steps to program a remote to an auxillary device, a link where you can look up codes, and the steps on how to preform a Power Scan if the codes don't work.
Codes: http://www.mydish.com/support/apps/remotecodes.aspx
Addressing Remote:
1.) Press and hold the clear DVD button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and DVD light will be blinking.
3.) Press 1 for a VCR/DVD, and enter the code. (if DVD code is 617, enter 1617)
4.) Press pound (#)
5.) Try functions (Power, Play, etc..) and see if it is working.
6.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.
On the steps above, to program your sound bar, repeat the same steps but instead of DVD hold AUX, and instead of 1 before the code, press 2.
To Power Scan the remote, with the desired equipment on, press and hold the DVD or AUX mode button (about six seconds) on the top of the remote until all mode buttons light up, then release. Press 1 for VCR/DVD, or 2 for other equipment, then press STAR (*)
Press the Up arrow button once per second while pointing the remote at the equipment. If the code for it comes up, the equipment power off.
When it does, press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light will flash three times. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.

Edy, I am not going to say that this is the definite issue but Dish only has receivers that are 1080i compatible at the time which will give you some blurring and possible pixellating. 1080p will resolve these issues in the future. Therefore if you still need help let me know.

We can only offer codes for our remote. You will need to call Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG and get tthe code from them. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

When you bring up your guide look at the top of the screen and you will see the LIST: if this says ALL HD then press the guide button until you see ALL SUB or a menu and select ALL SUB. If your guide keeps changing by itself its possible to have remote interfence since you have a UHF remote, especially if you also see channel changes as well. Try setting the guide and go from there. If you still continue to have issues call 1-800-333-3474 for tech support for extensive troubleshooting or at dishnetwork .com/tech.

I've just experienced the same thing with a new Pioneer VSX-820-K receiver

It sounds like either on the 612 or the Yamaha Receiver that the HDMI port is faulty, thus causing the flashing picture. It sounds like the 612 to the TV works fine. I would recommend replacing the Yamaha, and if problem persists then try replacing the 612.
