Do I have to put the pregnancy test stick into my urine flow or can I collect it into a cup?

It is not the correct way to put stick in a flow. Collect that in a cup and put the stick into that for 10 to 20 seconds and wait for the results.

You can collect the urine into a cup and hold the stick in
there for ten seconds before laying it flat and waiting for the results.
