Please help 1999 Thermozone 60,000 BTU furnace 3-stage

I am current haveing issues with my furncae the issue was that during heat cycle when main blower would come on it was causeing the center flame tube to flutter i knew that it had something to do with the heat exchanger. After trying to find any damage cracks and rust perforation i could not find a thing so i had a HVAC tech come out during his inspection of the flame tube that was haveing issues there are 2-small holes/perforations and the end of the flame tube the furnace does not roll out the flame and the noise it is makeing is minimal. Upon his co2 leak test there was none coming from the vent with this being said is it still possible to use my furnace another month or 2 untill i can afford a replacemant during summer thank you.

Amana 80sse furnace fire up work for about 10 min. It goes in lockout and inducer motor stay on

Robert, that is a typical indication of the furnace cycling on its high temperature switch. Look for a dirty filter, return air blockage or any other thing that would cause air flow restriction across the heat exchanger. If nothing else is evident, possibly attempt changing the heating speed to medium low or medium high for heat to improve air flow. But if it worked with no changes prior to this problem, it has to be lack of air flow that is causing the issue.

My furnace is 4 years old. It cycles but does not ignite

More info is needed.
When you say it "Cycles", where does that fall into the following sequence....
1. Call for heat
2. Inducer starts(exhaust)
3. Pressure switch closes( connected to inducer via hose)
4. Ignitor glows or sparks
5. Gas valve opens and burners light
Does the ignitor glow or spark at all?
Do you see the exhaust working?
Sometimes the small hose that runs from the exhaust housing to the pressure switch will get clogged. Blow it out and don't forget the inlet and outlet.

Goodman Model GMV950905DX-an electrical surge burned out the transformer which I replaced, also replaced the circuit board. The variable speed furnace will no longer kick into high speed and it will l

If I remember correctly, there are dip switches on that control board that can be set individually. It is possible that it is just a setup issue. The switch positions should be explained in the installation instructions. I know that some Goodman and Amana two stage furnaces can be controlled by a single stage thermostat, but the dip switches have to be set properly. If the switches are set correctly the furnace will run in low stage heat for approximately 5 minutes and if the thermostat hasn't satisfied yet, it will kick in to high stage heat. I hope this points you in the right direction!

Atwood 38591 Excalibur xt 1522 LP two stage furnace. Operates on high fan only

Hi Dave. I'm Roger. Its normal for a furnace to shut down completely when the set point on the thermostat is reached. The first and second stages are used when the temp. gets close to set point. The heat output drops to its low stage at around 3 degrees before set point. Check your owners manual for specifics on the fan though.

I'm considering installing a Goodman LP Gas Furnace:sizing? Ops?

Gerge, if you go to website www.energycodes.gov
you can do a heat load calc yourself. Basically, you figure out the sizes of walls, total area of glass. total doors to outside, ceiling area and types of building materials used. It is pretty easy and then you will know for sure. The contractor should be suppling you with one but if not use this, it is free!
