I would recommend MovieFactory 6 Plus or VideoStudio X2 Pro from Corel.com
You can download free trials from Corel.com, but I don't think they sell X2 Pro anymore they are now up to X3 and I am not sure how well it works.
do you mean serial number? if so
go to "Browse" on your installation CD
click on Icon with SN written under it [in files on CD section]
and your serial number will come up
A trial version is limited either in time, functionnalities or the number of times you can use it. If its is timelimited you can use it for a certain number of days, then you cannot do it anymore.
My suggestion is to copy the files you created with it and hide them in some other folder: They will not be erased when you remove the software. Then remove the software and try to reinstall it.
