I have Acer pc desktop (model Acerpower FV Aspire T 600) .previously it was infected by virus because of this reason I format it with its system CD .I remember my pc is working properly after the formatting process finished. Then I left it with out turning off the system to take some coffee with my friends. After 1 hr I returned to my pc, but my pc was turned off. I try to restart it. But it works only for 2 minutes then the system will switch off by itself. I was continuing restarting for two times. Finally the monitor stop displaying any video and the led (status indicator light) shows a red light. After that, I tried to solve the problem by changing the processor and RAM, nothing is happen. My monitor can’t display any thing. Please help me.
Thanks for ur help
Techguru 2009: First thing disconnect all power. Remove all drives (hard drive, CD/DVD, Floppy). Then remove all PCI cards. Also slowly remove the Memory cards. You should only have the motherboard w/processor and the power supply connected, do not connect the monitor or mouse\keyboard. If you have a CMOS battery also remove it. Careful turn the power on, you should hear several beeps. That is letting you know that there is no memory installed. Turn power off disconnect power cord. Slowly install the memory cards, keyboard, mouse, monitor. If you have a pci video card install it now. Turn power on. you should see the bios loading then error message there is no disk or operating syste. turn power off and start connecting one device at a time so your bios can recognize it. This should let you know if you have faulty hardwareby isolating each install. If you still have problems let me know.

Yes iI have same problame
It is possible that it over heated. You did not say what it was sitting on. You may need to change out the Hard Drive. What operating system is it? XP or Vista?
Try booting to safe mode by tapping the F8 key and see if it boots that way.
Please let me know.\
Thanks!
Try to remove and replace the ram. It sounds like either a problem with the ram and or the power supply.
