What is logitech 810-000755 used for or what does it do

810-000755 is the part number for the Logitech C-bt44 USB receiver for the Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 100. See http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/cordless-desktop-ex-100-product/faq#link_19321 . This is the section of the FAQ on using the EX 100 with other USB receivers. The receiver lets select Logitech wireless keyboards and mice communicate with the computer that has this device plugged in. The 810-000755 also works with the Logitech cordless desktop (keyboard/mice) EX 110, and the MK 300. There may be other keyboards and mice that communicate with this receiver. However, newer Logitech keyboards and desktops (keyboard/mice) may not use this receiver.

I hope this helps. Note: the EX 100 uses 2 alkaline AA batteries in the keyboard and 2 alkaline AA batteries in the mouse to communicate with the receiver. I believe the other keyboards and desktops that can communicate with the 810-000755 also use alkaline batteries which last ~6 months before they must be replaced.

My Logitech EX110 wireless keyboard has no light indicators for CAPS LOCK and NUM LOCK. Should it have those indicators?

Your EX 110 receiver has 3 indicator lights (LEDs) that display the status of the Caps lock, Function key, and the Num lock during normal operating mode. These lights will also flash when the connect button on the receiver is pressed.
LED A: Indicates that the Caps Lock (Capital lock) key is on when lit.
LED F: Indicates that the F keys are in Standard F Keys Mode when lit and in Enhanced F Keys Mode when the LED is off.
  • Your EX 110 keyboard has an Enhanced F Keys Mode for F keys that provides additional functions you can program. See Knowledge Base article 9526.
LED 1: Indicates when the Num Lock (Number lock) key is on. This function allows the number pad to produce only numbers

Easy launch buttons stopped working since I loaded logitch cordless mouse

You should try to be more clear about what "easy launch" buttons you are talking about. I'm guessing you possibly mean on your keyboard(?). At any rate, most launch buttons can be configured and set to what things you want to launch -- so you might try re-configuring them. Logitech software is a huge burdensome set of programs that often takes over in a lot of unexpected ways. If your easy launch is more important to you than some of the Logitech features, you might try uninstalling it and simply using the drivers for your mouse that are already installed in Windows. If you need instructions to do that, repost on this forum.
