Turn it on and try and spin the blades by hand or use a pen or something to give them a kick start. If it works then, you can bet the motor needs to be taken apart, cleaned, and oiled.

A mouse ate through the misting line on my Windchaser misting fan. How do i fix that?

Cut out the bad section of tubing. Take the tubing piece no longer attached to the hardware store and ask for coupling.

I purchased the wndchaser mistingfan approx 2 yrs ago. It doesn't work after having been used a few times. The switch doesn't work to turn the fan on. I tried to contact the co by phone to no avail

It probably is out of warranty. Most warranties last no longer than 1 year. The switch needs replaced. But it would be cheaper to buy another brand of fan than to pay someone to repair the one that you now own, unless you do the repair yourself.
