Where can I get a part for my Windchaser 16" osilating stand fan, model IVS182. It stopped osilating and needs the small part that helps it osilate. Don't know what it is called.

Check with the manufacturer, they should be able to get you the replacement part. Maybe they show a diagram online with names of parts that can help you name it, so they can send you one.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Osilating stopped on lasko 2554 fan

Lasko's are good for stripping the gear in the base that makes it oscillate. If it's still under warranty, they will send you a new fan.

Honeywell hy 013 making noise while osillating

You can replace the control arm screw with a longer one of the same diameter and thread pattern. The longer screw will catch the base and allow proper oscillation motor to catch the base.

Fan osillation stop in tower fan model 05545

Check to see that there is power at the fan motor with a volt meter it should be 110-120volts AC. Your motor is probably shot, also you can check the switches to see they are getting power also.
